SAUDI ARABIA EXECUTION: HORROR VIDEO SHOWS INNOCENT WOMAN BEING BEHEADED FOR KILLING SIX YEAR OLD.

Saudi Arabia execution: Horror video shows 'innocent' woman being BEHEADED for 'killing six-year-old'

Man who filmed Layla bint Abdul Mutaleb Bassim's execution and put it on the internet is arrested following outrage after fears her family could watch

A woman screamed her innocence right up until the last seconds before an executioner’s sword fell, beheading her for killing her husband’s six-year-old daughter.

But the sword-weilding executioner had to take two swings to hack-off Layla bint Abdul Mutaleb Bassim’s head in graphic footage later uploaded onto the Internet.

There were howls of protest over the woman’s execution in Saudi Arabia’s holy city of Mecca after she was found guilty of beating the girl and raping her with a broomstick.

But the outrage, mainly from men, wasn’t about her sentence of death, but because it was filmed and uploaded onto the web, where her family might see it.

Now the country’s religious police have arrested the person who filmed the execution and posted it online.

The film shows Bassim pleading for her life as she is dragged, in full black grab, to the execution spot still protesting her innocence.

She screamed: "Haram. Haram. Haram. Haram. I did not kill. I do not forgive you. This is injustice.

“I did not kill. There is no God but God. I did not kill.”

The video shows the executioner, dressed in a white robe, forcing her to lie down on the ground.

She wailed her last words of “ I did not ...as the executioner swung his curved sword into her neck. The first blow failed to sever Bassim’s head entirely and he had to swing again before she was decapitated.

It was only after her execution on Saturday a voice read out her crime.

It is a traditional execution for the kingdom, which carries out death sentences in public.

Many Twitter users protested the video being circulated on the internet because it could be seen by the woman’s family, but did not object to the beheading itself.

Bassim was one of 10 people beheaded in Saudi Arabia so far this year, which executed 87 people last year, up from 78 in 2013.

The kingdom had the third-highest number of recorded executions in 2013, behind Iran and Iraq, according to Amnesty International.

Bassim’s execution came after she was found guilty of the rape and murder of Kalthoum bint Abdul Rahman bin Ghulam Gadir, her husband’s daughter, according to official Saudi sourcces.

“Investigations led to her trial which proved she was guilty,’ the interior ministry was quoted as saying.

A United Nations special rapporteur has said trials leading to the death penalty in Saudi Arabia are ‘grossly unfair’.

She was one of 10 executed so far this year. Rape, murder, apostasy, armed robbery and drug trafficking all carrey the death penalty in the oil-rich Gulf state,a close ally of Washington and a regular customer of both American and British arms companies.

THE MOST BRUTAL EXECUTION METHODS REPORTEDLY USED BY MEXICAN CARTELS.

The Most Brutal Execution Methods Reportedly Used By Mexican Cartels The Mexican Drug War - a sustained, violent conflict between powerful drug cartels and the Mexican government - has claimed an estimated 164,000 lives over the past decade.  This rampant bloodshed has torn apart cities and communities across Mexico, often taking the lives of the innocent along with those directly involved.  The Mexican cartels (The Sinaloa, Los Zetas, The Gulf Cartel, and the Knights Templar, most notably) and their known drug associates continue to escalate gratuitous acts of retaliation and often record the executions.  In 2017, the Mexican government extradited Joaquín "El Chapo" Guzmán, a known member of the Sinaloa cartel, to the US. Guzmán faces charges of murder and laundering funds.  New York prosecutors have evidence against the alleged cartel leader, including YouTube videos in which Guzmán systematically harmed and then removed the heads of rival gang members.  In a ...
